During the Constantine Troop’s treasure hunt on Friday, two of our Scout leaders were involved in a road traffic collision. They were walking along Sowerby Road in Acomb whilst shadowing a group of Scouts when a car mounted the pavement hitting them. Holgate Methodist Church are once again supporting a small Romanian charity, “Cry in the Dark” and are trying to get all the groups that meet at the Church to help them make Christmas shoe boxes for them. Further information is available on the Group Letters Page.
Over 100 young people have just returned from this year’s Group Camp. Held at Snowball Plantation, the weekend was packed with activities on a crystal maze theme.
