Beaver Scout Helpers
Our Beaver Scouts need someone with energy, enthusiasm and motivation to help them to have fun and try new things. Could that someone be you?
Beaver scouts are between 6 and 8 years old and have a strong desire to have fun and play games!
You will be working with a team of experienced adults to ensure that the Beavers have an activity each week. You may be able to come along each week and deliver an already planned series of activities, you may not either way together with the team you will ensure there are enough adults to keep the section going every week. Working within the team you will be able to give your thoughts and ideas about what activities to do and games to play.
One week you may be making volcano cakes, the next exploring the park or making a worm farm. What we can guarantee is that no two weeks are the same as the young people do different things each week to earn their badges and awards.
And the best part is the young people come to your sessions because they are such wonderful fun! The badges they achieve are worn with pride on their uniform and they are always smiling as they run into the meeting room.
