Have you thought about volunteering to help the Group but can’t make a regular commitment? Not a problem why not join our new Active Support Unit? We’re looking for a group of people who wish to support the Group in a wide range of ways but not necessarily every week ……
So if you join our Active Support Unit, how can you help? Here’s a few ideas:
Filling in at meetings;
Helping with catering on camps;
Driving the minibus;
Helping with fundraising;
Doing odd jobs;
Helping with admin;
Herding cats;
Stewarding events;
Helping on trips, hikes and activities;
Pitching tents;
Photography;
Editing a newsletter;
Contributing to our Website;
Carrying out equipment repairs;
Shopping…. Etc.
Pretty sure there’s something there for you!
You don’t need to become a member of the Scout Association and wear uinform but you can if you’d like to!
